Additional Construction, Change, Improvements and Landscaping


Additional Construction, Change, Improvements. After the original construction is done, any additional construction, add-ons, sheds, fences, paving, and so on DO require the approval of the Bent Tree ACC. In addition, any changes to the exterior of your home, such as paint, new stucco, new roof, any exterior changes DO require the Approval of the Bent Tree ACC.

Softscape is dirt, plants, and trees. You do not need ACC approval for any softscape that you are putting in or taking out EXCEPT for trees. Cutting down trees that are more than 4” in diameter or greater DOES require ACC approval.

Hardscape is concrete, retaining walls, pavement, fencing, an like structures. These DO require ACC approval.

Penalty Fee for Violation Written application for approval of plans shall be made and signed by the owner of the tract (not the builder) and the owner shall be held responsible for any violations of the covenants which are committed by the builder or other persons engaged by the owner.  If any excavation, cutting of trees or construction is commenced by owner, or owner's representatives, prior to receipt of written approval by the ACC, then the owner agrees to pay immediately a penalty of three hundred dollars ($300).
