February 16, 2016

Monument Sanitation Board Meeting Room

The meeting was called to order by Greg Davis at 6:40 PM.

Board members present: Greg Davis, Matt Dunston, Deb Guillan & Mark Weidner

Approval of the Agenda: Matt made a motion to approve the agenda as written. The motion was seconded by Greg. Unanimous approval.

Excused Absences: Matt made the motion to excuse Brandon Ware’s Absence. Mark seconded the motion. Unanimous Approval.

Resident Remarks: None

ACC Report: Matt reported not much is going on at this time.

Committee Reports:

Beautification, Trails & Roads: Deb Guillan reported that the Higby Trail from Colonial Park is doing well with this winter’s conditions. The thought of widening the trail from upper Colonial Park around to the Roller Coaster is being pursued further with bids from two sources. Discussion on benefit of widening this trail was noted.

Communications: Website updated with 2015 Meeting Minutes, Directory Changes.

Covenant Compliance: No Report

Engineering and Water Augmentation: Matt reported he would like to simplify the water report card to make it easier to understand and respond for the Bent Tree homeowners.

Forest Management: No Report.

Neighborhood Watch: No report or discussion.

Welcoming: Deb presented Chuck’s report. Chuck has updated the welcome packet for 2016. He will need to purchase more Bird houses this year.

Board meeting minutes: Minutes for the January’s Board Meeting were presented. Greg made a motion to accept with date correction. Seconded by Mark. Unanimous Approval.

Water Meeting: Matt will get together with Renae to go over simplification process for future water cards.

Treasurer’s Report: Greg presented the Budget for 2016, Expense Report for 2015 & Reserve Study that will be presented on Feb. 18^th at the yearly Budget meeting for homeowners.

Motion to pay present bills was made by Deb. Seconded by Greg. Unanimous approval.

Future Meeting Schedule:

Annual Budget Meeting: Feb. 18^th. 6:30 P.M., Woodmoor Improvement Association Barn, 1691 Woodmoor Drive.

Regular Board Meetings: 3^rd Tuesday, 6:30 P.M., Monument Sanitation District; Feb 16th. Mar. 15^th, April 19^th, May 17^th, June 21^st, July 19^th.
